American Military Museum
The American Military Museum is an inauspicious collection of historic military memorabilia tucked away in a small space below what used to be the Imax Theater at the Aquarium Wharf. There are more than 70 display cases packed full of authentic artifacts from 14 American conflicts, including as far back as the Revolutionary War. Something we found a bit odd about this attraction is the nearly complete lack of plaques or written material accompanying the displays. It is mostly a showcase of how military uniforms have changed over the years with practically no effort made toward educating visitors about the conflicts themselves.
