Patriot's Point Naval and Maritime Museum
If you drive to the tip of Patriots Point, you can't miss the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier. Before arriving at the parking lot, you will be greeted by a few turrets sitting in the grass along the road. This is one of the largest naval museums in the world, opened in October of 1975. Though the Yorktown is the main draw, the exhibits also include a Destroyer (USS Laffey), a Coast Guard Cutter (Ingham), and a Balao-class Submarine (Clamagore). If you really want to see everything Patriots Point has to offer, you should set aside four to six hours. If you're a bit rushed, I recommend prioritizing the submarine and the aircraft carrier.
